Maybe the acute just fell over?
You're being too harsh; that apostrophe really was an attempt at an accent.
Nice effort, not very pretty result.
This kind of error is one of the banes of my existence when proper names are concerned, since ten percent of the time it turns out to be right. ("Right" in the sense that parent(s) stuck an apostrophe on the birth certificate where God would put an accent mark, I mean.)
