Stephen Fry can't let a grammar error go uncorrected

img src="http://www.grammarblog.co.uk/z_images/banners/v2launch.gif" border="0" title="We've moved to www.grammarblog.co.uk" alt="We've moved to www.grammarblog.co.uk" />
Stephen Fry corrects Alan Davies and explains why, as far as grammar is concerned, "one" is the same as "none".

We all know why Stephen picks on Alan so much; it's because of actual and genuine love.

I have to admit to having made the same mistake as Alan many times in the past. Never again. I love this blog.

I didn't even know that rule - it makes perfect sense though. God bless Stephen Fry.

He's wrong. "none" has been used with both singular and plural verbs for a thousand years by good writers. Many usage books acknowledge this.

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .
net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.
But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress on a variety of websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform.
I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts
into it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of
plagorism or copyright infringement? My site has a lot
of completely unique content I've either written myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any methods to help prevent content from being ripped off? I'd truly
appreciate it.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell
to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I
had to tell someone!
