Stationary Greeting Cards

This is a common mistake. You'd think a stationer would know how to spell stationery correctly. On the plus side, those greeting cards stay nice and still when you pick them up.

I would expect my greetings cards stationary to be honest. How you would write them out if they were jiggling about all over the place, I don't know.
Is there something wrong with the contact email? I've just tried to send a grammar query, and I've got a Delivery Failed notice.
Ashleigh,
In a futile effort to avoid spam, I put the mail-to link in so the email address appears as grammarblog[at]googlemail[dot]com. Perhaps you didn't notice this?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
I've just realised that we have been displaying an incorrect email address. This has now been corrected.
I bet the stationer wonders why the stock is moving so slowly, if at all. :)
I have a problem with "beers."
Kathy, the first step on the road to recovery is admitting you have a problem. Well done.
Actually I don't mind a shop advertising "beers"; it lets me know that a variety of beers are available for my delectation. Do you object to "wines"?
Maybe we have hit on a transatlantic difference, similar to the selective pluralisation of collective nouns.
Forgot to say earlier how much I love your blog, and don't know how I missed it all this time. Found you in BlogCatalog.
So, yeah. It's weird I didn't have a problem with "wines." Why is that? I think "Beers" sounds a little off in my ear. But somehow "wines" doesn't. Ack!!! Now "wines" sounds funny.
I think I do have a problem! I'll be back. I'm sure you can help me with my problem...
Great blog! We're all in this together :) I've linked to you all from my site, yoursewvein.blogspot.com
